Bullying Support
Discovering your child is involved in a bullying situation is one of the most painful experiences a parent can face.
Emotions run incredibly high. And when they do, it's almost impossible to find a rational, sustainable way forward. That's where I come in.
I act as a neutral, empathetic mediator — working directly with the child, the family, and the school to defuse the situation, heal the emotional impact, and make sure it doesn't happen again. I bring no agenda. Just experience, steadiness, and a genuine belief that every child involved — regardless of which side they are on — deserves support.
Who is this for?
Bullying support is for children from age 10 onwards and their families — typically when:
Your child is being bullied at school, online, or within their social circle
The school's response hasn't been enough, or has actually made things worse
Your child has started withdrawing, refusing school, or showing signs of anxiety
You're worried about long-term impacts and don't know what to do next
Your child is the one behaving harmfully, and you want to address it early, before it escalates
I can work with both sides of a bullying situation. The most lasting change happens when everyone is supported.
How do I work?
No two bullying situations are the same. Before anything else, I take the time to understand yours — through a careful intake process that maps the full picture: who's involved, what's happened, what's already been tried, and what each person needs. From there, our work happens on several levels:
With your child:
Building emotional awareness, self-confidence, and strategies on reading a situation, responding, and walking away with their dignity intact. We work at their pace, in ways that feel safe. I help them understand it’s not their fault, and that the way someone treats you says far more about them than it does about you.
With the parents:
Helping you engage with the school effectively, without letting fear and frustration take over. I give you the tools to advocate for your child and support them at home, without inadvertently making the situation worse
With the school:
When appropriate, I step in as a neutral voice: A life-long educator myself, I am able to communicate with teachers and administrators without the emotional charge that makes those conversations so difficult for parents to navigate alone.
Sessions continue as needed — not in fixed packages — until the situation is resolved, with check-ins during the week to carefully monitor how things are evolving.
What will we work on?
Developing a holistic lens for personal growth.
A holistic lens for personal growth views us as an interconnected system. It emphasizes balanced development across physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual dimensions, ensuring that progress in one area doesn't come at the expense of another.
Self-Awareness
Helping children understand social dynamics, what triggers them, and recognizing their own worth.
Responsibility
Guiding all parties to understand the impact of their actions.
Compassion
Exploring why bullying happens, including for the child doing the bullying.
Belonging
Rebuilding a safe social world where your child feels secure and accepted.
What can you expect?
Without adequate support, bullying can lead to feelings of inadequacy, self-harm or worse.
Kids come out of this process with something no school policy can give them: a sense of their own power. They understand what happened. They know it wasn't their fault. And they have real tools for what comes next. Parents feel less helpless, more equipped, and relieved that someone has finally shown them a way through.
