Teen Coaching

Your teen might not talk to you right now, but they can talk to me.

As kids move into their teenage years, it's normal for them to pull away from their parents. They're figuring out who they are, where they belong, and how to navigate a world that keeps shifting under their feet — especially when that world includes a new country, a new school, new friends, or a language that isn't theirs.

During this phase, teens rarely open up to the people closest to them. Not because they don't trust you. But because the stakes feel too high.

I offer a safe, supportive, third-party space for young people ages 11 and older to process their emotions, build self-worth, and develop practical tools for daily life. My role is to be the bridge: between your teen and their own confidence, and between your teen and you.

Who is this for?

Teen coaching is for young people navigating:

  • Relocation, cultural adjustment, or language barriers

  • Social challenges — loneliness, difficulty fitting in, peer pressure

  • Academic stress, perfectionism, or performance anxiety

  • Big emotions they're not quite sure how to manage

  • A sense that something feels off, even if they can't name what it is

It's also for the parents who feel the distance growing and want to help, but keep hitting a wall.

How do I work?

I always start by meeting with you, the parent, to understand what you're seeing, where the tension is, and what you're hoping for. Then I meet your teenager… but not the way you might imagine.

Teen sessions aren't formal sit-down conversations. We walk. We bake. We cook, make things, talk while doing. Side-by-side is far less confronting than face-to-face — and that's the point. I don't push. I ask questions. I listen. I let them lead.

Slowly, the important things come out. The worries they've been carrying. The things they couldn't say at home. I help them build emotional awareness and expression, the language for what they're feeling, and the tools for the situations they're actually in.

Are these sessions confidential?

Confidentiality is held with utmost care. I don't share details, but I do check in with parents to keep everyone moving in the same direction.

How many sessions will we need?

Sessions are not packaged or prescribed. We will work at the pace your teenager needs, for as long as it takes.

What will we work on?

The four essential pillars of adolescent growth.

Adolescent growth is defined by four core developmental pillars: Physical, Cognitive, Emotional, and Social. Together, these interconnected areas shape how a teenager transforms from a child into an independent, well-adjusted adult, navigating major biological and psychological milestones.

Confidence

Overcoming self-doubt, social anxiety, and building genuine self-worth.

Belonging

Navigating peer dynamics, making friends, finding their place.

Identity

Discovering who they are and what matters to them, growing their sense of independence.

Relocation & Change

Processing the unique grief and stress of starting over somewhere new.

What can you expect?

Teens who work with me become more grounded in who they are — not who they think they're supposed to be. They feel less alone. They communicate better.

Parents often notice the shift before their teenager does: something relaxes. The wall comes down, just a little. That's where healing happens and everything becomes possible again.

Book a free 20-minute discovery call — first for you, and then I'll meet with your teen.
